FAQ

Common questions

What is Facilit8?

Facilit8 is Nigeria's professional development ecosystem. Event Managers post and fund training needs, Facilitators bid on and deliver them, and every professional, including those not staffing or delivering training, gets Awé, an AI partner for career growth.

I'm a Professional, not an Event Manager or Facilitator. What does Facilit8 offer me?

You can browse the facilitators and training shaping your industry, affiliate with a verified organization if you're part of one, invite peers to pool funds for a merged training session, and use Awé to turn your career profile into a concrete next step, all without ever posting or bidding on training yourself.

What is Awé?

Awé is Facilit8's AI Career and Professional Growth Partner. It's grounded in your real profile, employment history, and activity on the platform, and it helps you figure out where you stand, where you're headed, and what closes the gap between them.

How does payment work?

Event Managers fund a training's budget into their Facilit8 wallet before a facilitator is confirmed. The funds are held until the training is marked complete, at which point they're released to the facilitator, minus a platform fee.

Do I need to verify my identity?

Yes. Both Event Managers and Facilitators complete a short identity verification (KYC) step before their wallet can send or receive funds. This keeps the marketplace accountable on both sides.

What is merged training?

Merged training lets multiple companies pool their budgets to jointly fund a single training session that no one company could afford alone. Participants split the cost by delegate count and vote together on which facilitator to select.

How are facilitators vetted?

Facilitators build a profile with their specialization, qualifications, and experience, and collect reviews after every completed engagement, so Event Managers can see a track record, not just a bid.

Can I message a facilitator before hiring them?

Yes, through Facilit8's built-in chat. Event Managers unlock a conversation with a facilitator for a set access period, so you can align on details before committing budget.

What happens if a training doesn't go ahead?

If a facilitator isn't selected or a session doesn't complete, funded budget stays in your wallet rather than being paid out, you're only charged once a training is confirmed complete.
